KCA's video post production services run in-house in Knoxville, TN, and they are not reserved for our own shoots. If you have footage from an event, an internal team, or a previous vendor, we can cut it.
What happens between footage and final file
Every project moves through the same stages: a story edit that finds the structure, a review cut you respond to, then color grading, sound mix, music licensing, and graphics. You approve the rough cut before polish begins, so revision rounds happen where they are cheap instead of after the grade.
Motion graphics and versioning
Titles, lower thirds, animated logos, data visualizations, and captions are built in-house to match your brand standards. Once the hero cut is locked, versioning is fast: length variants, vertical and square crops, platform-specific exports, and caption files. The master project stays organized on our side, so next quarter's update is an edit session, not an archaeology dig.

Some of our favorite projects arrive as a hard drive and an apology. Conference footage nobody cut, a half-finished project from a vendor who moved on, years of clips with no system. We audit what is usable, tell you what the footage can honestly support, and quote the edit from there.

Can you edit footage we shot ourselves?
Yes, and it is common. Send a sample first; we will tell you what the footage supports before you commit. Good phone footage can carry a social edit. A brand film needs more, and we will say so rather than polish something that will not hold up.
How many revision rounds are included?
Our standard process includes a rough-cut review and a revision pass on the polished cut, which covers nearly every project. If a project needs more, we flag it early and price the extra rounds before doing the work.
What is the turnaround on an edit-only project?
A short social cut can turn around inside a week. A long-form piece with graphics, grade, and mix typically runs two to four weeks depending on footage volume and review speed. Deadlines get confirmed before we start, not discovered at the end.
