Video Production

A commercial video production company that starts with the brief

Most commercial video gets judged in the edit bay. Ours gets judged where it runs: on your website, in your ad accounts, on the screens your customers actually watch.

KCA is a video production company in Knoxville, TN with a full in-house crew. We write the brief with you, plan the shoot to the shot, and deliver a set of cuts sized for each place the video will live.

The brief decides the budget, not the other way around

Before anyone scouts a location, we settle three things in writing: who the video is for, where it will run, and what action it should produce. A homepage hero, a pre-roll ad, and a sales-meeting opener are three different videos even when they share footage. Agreeing on the job first is what keeps shoot day efficient and keeps the quote honest.

You see that quote line by line. Crew, gear, locations, talent, edit time. Nothing is bundled into a mystery day rate.

One crew from pitch to final cut

The producer who scopes your project is the producer on set and the one reviewing the edit. We do not subcontract shoot day to freelancers you have never met. That continuity is why revisions go fast: the person making the change was in the room when the decision was made.

Built to be cut down and reused

We plan coverage so a single shoot produces a hero piece plus the shorter versions your channels need: 30 and 15 second cuts, vertical crops for social, stills pulled from the day, and a b-roll library you can draw on for months. When Wagbar launched with content from one production day, their launch month did 884K social views, four times the month before.

Frequently Asked Questions About Commercial Video

  • How long does a commercial video take from kickoff to delivery?

Most projects run three to six weeks from signed brief to final files. A single-location shoot with one speaker moves faster; multiple locations, hired talent, or heavy graphics add time. We put the timeline in the brief so there are no surprises.

  • What drives the cost of a commercial video?

Crew size, shoot days, locations, talent, and edit complexity. A half-day, one-location shoot is a very different line-item sheet than a two-day production with actors. We quote per project and you see every line before committing.

  • Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

No. KCA works month to month, and video projects are scoped piece by piece. If the first project earns the second, that is the contract working the way it should.

  • Can you work with footage or brand assets we already have?

Yes. If you have usable footage, logos, or past campaign assets, we fold them into the plan and shoot only what is missing. It is often the fastest way to stretch a budget.
